Egypt medical-professions risk fund reviews compensation and investments

Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar chaired the seventh board meeting of the Medical Professions Risk Compensation Fund on October 6. The board reviewed the fund’s finances, compensation payments and investment plan through the end of August 2026.

The board reviewed compensation to eligible beneficiaries for deaths and injuries causing total or partial disability. It also discussed balances held at commercial banks and monitoring of the fund’s financial and investment position to preserve its ability to meet obligations.
