EDF power solutions completed sectionalizing work on the first circuit of the Campos–GNA transmission line, beginning integration of its Açu Transmissora asset into Brazil’s National Interconnected System. The company announced the step on 13 October 2026.

The project was partially energized at this stage; the announcement did not say the entire asset had entered service. The facility is in the municipalities of São João da Barra and Campos dos Goytacazes. EDF described it as the first transmission asset it is integrating in the Northern Fluminense region.
