DEWA announces 21 Dubai substation construction contracts

First-half transmission programme creates substantial contractor work.

DEWA’s July 21 release reports 21 construction contracts for 132 kV substations in H1 2026. Including 64 kilometres of connecting cables, total cost is AED 3 billion.

The programme expands Dubai’s grid. Contractors are not named in the source, so awards cannot be assigned to individual firms. Commissioned facilities and newly contracted works represent different stages.
