Danish real income rose 1.4% in 2025

Statistics Denmark said average total pre-tax income among people aged 15 and over was DKK 428,800 per person in 2025. After inflation, the real increase was 1.4%.

Nominal average income rose 3.4% from DKK 414,900 in 2024. Consumer prices increased 1.9% in 2025; the agency said real income growth had slowed from 3.5% the year before.

Average taxable income also rose 2.7% in nominal terms to DKK 303,800. This measure differs from total personal income: it excludes share income, deducts certain allowances and omits tax-free income.
