Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) reported 107.1 billion reais in rural credit for commercial agriculture during the first three months of the 2026/27 crop year, July through September. The total includes lending to medium-sized producers under Pronamp, other rural producers and funds raised through rural product notes (CPRs).

CPR operations accounted for 50.3 billion reais, or 46.9% of the total, while conventional operating credit reached 36.4 billion reais, or 34%. The ministry said the figures draw on the Central Bank’s Sicor system and CPR registries. They describe financing contracted, not resulting output or farm indebtedness by themselves.
