Canada-based BCM Resources said on October 15 that it completed drill hole TK21 to 1,293 metres at its Thompson Knolls project in Utah. The company reported about 305 metres of copper-skarn mineralization down the hole, including an interval of roughly 140 metres with more than 1% chalcopyrite by volume.

Those figures describe the company’s visual core observations; sampling and laboratory assays are still under way, so they are not grade results. BCM plans to start an inclined hole, TK22, from the same platform. Models from separately completed induced-polarization and magnetotelluric surveys are also still being processed.
