Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee released foreign-trade data on 12 October. Foreign trade totalled $33.9349 billion in January–August 2026, with a positive trade balance of $11.0881 billion.

Azerbaijani legal entities and individuals traded with partners in 175 countries during the period. Goods were exported to 125 countries and imported from 163. The committee said nominal turnover was 7.4% higher than a year earlier, while real turnover was 15.4% lower.
