Azerbaijan economy grows 1.5% in nine months
Azerbaijan’s gross domestic product rose 1.5% in real terms in January-September from a year earlier, the State Statistical Committee reported.

The State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan said in its 9 October release covering January-September 2026 that gross domestic product grew 1.5% in real terms from the same period a year earlier. Output in the oil and gas sector fell 1.2%, while non-oil and gas GDP increased 2.6%.
In the same comparison, industrial product declined 0.8%; non-oil and gas industry grew 5.4%, and information and communication services rose 11.1%. The committee reports these as nine-month comparisons, not monthly or seasonally adjusted growth.
