Azerbaijan active VAT taxpayers rise 6.9%
Azerbaijan’s State Tax Service said the number of active VAT taxpayers reached 62,414 on 1 October, up 6.9% from the start of the year.

The agency counted 900,967 active taxpayers overall as of that date, a 4.8% increase since the start of 2026. Active business entities numbered 247,206, up 6.2%.
The reported rates describe changes in registration counts. The release did not measure business activity or the amount of tax collected.
