Andalusia’s EMA 1-1-2 service said on October 18 that it had managed 579 emergencies during the rainstorm episode, including 310 reported that Sunday. At 20:36 that evening, an ES-Alert mobile warning was sent to 50 Almería municipalities over intense rain forecast for the morning of October 19.

Cumulative incident counts were 165 in Almería, 135 in Málaga and 125 in Cádiz. Reports covered flooding, traffic disruption, rescues and falling objects. The Almería message covered 41 municipalities in Poniente and the capital area and nine in Levante almeriense; it concerned a weather forecast rather than measured rainfall.
