Uzbekistan's Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications announced on 1 October the results for 6,500 additional undergraduate places at regional state universities for applicants from Karakalpakstan. The places are on standard tuition-fee contracts and were ranked in descending order by applicants' scores.

Eligibility required permanent residence in Karakalpakstan at registration, graduation from a general, specialized secondary or professional institution in the region, and an entrance-exam score of at least 56.7 points. The extra places were for applicants not recommended for admission in the previous selection.
