IllustrationA third Deloitte economic-impact study for UNHCR estimates that the presence of refugees from Ukraine generated an amount equal to 2.4% of Poland’s GDP in 2025, or about PLN 94 billion. The publication characterizes the result as an economic-impact estimate.
It says the refugee employment rate rose from 69% in 2024 to 76% in 2025. Among refugee households surveyed, 87% named work, self-employment or similar activity as their main income source; this describes survey respondents, not every household. The study says its modelling found no negative effect on Polish workers’ employment or wages.
