The UK Department for Education accepted all 27 recommendations in Sir David Bell’s independent review of antisemitism in schools and colleges. The review reported that three in five Jewish pupils aged 16 to 19 had experienced or witnessed antisemitism; it also described harassment and discrimination affecting pupils and staff.

The government announced dedicated training for education leaders, stronger safeguarding and political-impartiality guidance, improved incident reporting and more support for schools handling complex cases. An implementation group has been set up, and Bell was asked to assess progress after one year. The announcement describes planned action, not measures already fully implemented.
