Nine provinces affiliated with the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations (GAİB) generated $183.909 million in dried-fruit export revenue between January and September 2026, Anadolu Agency reported on 25 October using GAİB figures. The report gives a regional association scope, not total Türkiye-wide dried-fruit exports.

Dried apricots led the product list at $65.837 million, followed by pistachios at $64.081 million. Other dried fruit contributed $19.551 million, dried figs $18.221 million and walnuts $6.039 million. Apricots and pistachios together represented 70.6% of the reported total, so the region’s result was strongly concentrated in two products.

Germany was the largest destination at $34.749 million. Italy followed at $20.926 million and the United States at $15.090 million; France received $10.025 million and Kazakhstan $8.479 million. Across broad destination groups, European Union countries led with $93.053 million, or 50.6% of the total. The Americas accounted for $27.301 million, while Turkic republics accounted for $16.124 million.

Some markets grew quickly from a smaller base. The report said shipments to Poland rose 84.2% to $8.266 million and those to Brazil rose 65.7% to $7.100 million. India’s purchases increased 261.8% to $3.398 million. These growth rates and amounts are reported by the article from association data; a high percentage increase does not by itself indicate a large market share.

Murat Bakır, head of GAİB’s dried-fruit and products exporters’ association, told AA that the tables showed some decline against the same period a year earlier. He pointed to increases in dried-fig exports of 55.4% and walnut exports of 40%, while calling growth in Poland and Brazil encouraging. His remarks describe the association’s assessment and priorities, not a separately audited national trade account.

For the regional exporters, the figures show both concentration and diversification: apricots and pistachios dominate the product mix, while shipments reach a wide range of markets. The source does not provide tonnage, unit prices, production volumes, company-level results or province-by-province splits. It therefore cannot show whether revenue changes came from export volumes, prices, crop conditions or a different product mix.
