TotalEnergies takes full ownership of Grandpuits recycling plant

The company acquires Plastic Energy’s remaining 35% stake.

TotalEnergies announced an agreement on September 11 to acquire the remaining 35% interest in Grandpuits plastics recycling. Previously holding 65%, the company reports that the plant is now wholly owned.

The French facility started production in March and can process 15,000 tonnes of plastic waste annually. Pyrolysis produces synthetic oil for petrochemical feedstock. September’s development concerns ownership rather than a new plant opening.
