TENMAK and Copenhagen Atomics agree on thorium research

TENMAK and Copenhagen Atomics signed a memorandum of understanding, the ministry announced on 7 September. Work is intended to focus on molten-salt reactor technology and thorium compound production opportunities in Türkiye.

The memorandum establishes a research and industrial capacity development framework. It does not announce an operating commercial reactor or completed fuel production.
