TAPI’s Herat section reaches 122.3 kilometres of laid pipeline

Ministry reports roughly 80% progress in welding and laying.

Afghanistan’s Mines and Petroleum Ministry reported on September 15 that 122.3 kilometres of the Herat TAPI section had been welded and laid, roughly 80% of that work component.

Burial covered 71.5 kilometres and hydrostatic testing 33 kilometres. Herat distribution-network design continues. These distinct stages mean the percentage does not represent commissioning of the entire TAPI pipeline.
