Afghanistan’s economic deputy prime minister’s office announced an August 10 TAPI gas-purchase memorandum between Afghan Gas and Türkmengaz, signed in Torghundi, Herat.
The memorandum covers determination of price, demand levels and distribution. No final price or delivery-start date is disclosed. Subsequent agreements on these matters will determine commercial implementation.
