SLB announced on September 8 that it and Shearwater launched a multiclient 3D seismic survey offshore Amapá in northern Brazil’s Equatorial Margin.
The survey area lies approximately 130 kilometres from the Morpho exploration well. Shearwater will acquire data and SLB will provide imaging. The work supports subsurface assessment; it does not announce a new reserve discovery or a well drilling contract.
In an IEA scenario, electricity could cost-effectively supply 33 percent of final energy use by 2035; projected import savings are not realized outcomes.
The utility’s long-term plan projects lower emissions despite rising electricity demand; its solar, battery and reverse-osmosis targets are not completed outcomes.
