Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) said it completed dispersing native wild and pastoral plant seeds across grazing areas in Sakaka, Dumat Al-Jandal and Tabarjal in Al-Jouf Region. The Saudi Press Agency reported on October 17 that the work was part of the third season of a programme to rehabilitate rangelands through seed dispersal and rainwater harvesting.

The center said the effort is intended to restore degraded land, improve productivity and preserve native plant species. It coincides with the 2026 National Greening Season. The report gives no area treated, seed quantity or measured result from the work.
