Saudi fig production exceeds 29,600 tonnes

The ministry’s summer fig report cited more than 565,000 productive trees and domestic growing regions.

In a 6 July report on summer figs, Saudi Arabia’s environment and agriculture ministry said production exceeded 29,600 tonnes and the country had more than 565,600 productive trees. These are figures published by the ministry.

The notice describes fig cultivation across several producing regions. Because it does not assign the figures a separate statistical period, this report does not attribute them to a specific harvest year.
