Russian petrol prices rose 0.3% in the week to 5 October

The average consumer price of motor gasoline in Russia increased from 78.50 roubles per litre on 28 September to 78.73 roubles on 5 October, according to Rosstat’s weekly monitoring published on 7 October. Prices of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline each rose 0.3% over the week; AI-98 and higher grades rose 0.7%.

The average consumer price of motor gasoline in Russia increased from 78.50 roubles per litre on 28 September to 78.73 roubles on 5 October, according to Rosstat’s weekly monitoring published on 7 October. Prices of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline each rose 0.3% over the week; AI-98 and higher grades rose 0.7%.

The average diesel price edged down from 86.77 to 86.72 roubles per litre. From the start of the year through 5 October, Rosstat’s price index rose 21.5% for gasoline and 14.0% for diesel. The monitoring covers more than 1,800 filling stations in 280 surveyed cities.
