Rock Tech Lithium said on October 9 that it had completed its previously announced non-brokered private placement. Across three tranches, it issued 9,219,301 units at C$0.65 each for gross proceeds of about C$6 million. Each unit comprises one common share and half a warrant, exercisable at C$0.90 per share for 36 months.

The company said C$3.25 million was subscribed by a strategic investor with whom it expects to enter a project-level equity participation in its Guben lithium hydroxide converter in Germany. Net proceeds are intended to advance the Georgia Lake mine definitive feasibility study and development of the Red Rock converter in Ontario. The company said closing remains subject to final TSX Venture Exchange approval.
