Puebla’s government said on October 17 that it had delivered 22 checks worth a combined MXN 6,987,942 under its Community Works Program. Residents choose priorities through local assemblies, and five-member committees administer the funds for projects that can include paving, sanitation and productive initiatives.

The same release reported 753 awards from two agricultural programs, with a combined investment of MXN 10,171,488. It listed 100 mills benefiting more than 300 women with productive projects, over 500 technology supports including tractors and drones, 92 breeding animals, equipment for agave processing and 1,800 reforestation plants. These are reported program deliveries; the release did not measure resulting changes in farm output or incomes.
