Petkim awards Aliağa petrochemical FEED and technology work to Technip Energies

Technip Energies received technology licensing, process design package and front-end engineering design contracts for Petkim’s proposed integrated petrochemical complex in Aliağa, Türkiye. The announcement concerns technical development by the SOCAR subsidiary.

The FEED design includes a cracker targeting approximately 1.2 million tonnes of ethylene and 550,000 tonnes of propylene annually, alongside polyethylene and polypropylene facilities. These are planned capacities. The awarded phases precede any final investment decision by Petkim.
