Pakistan’s weekly essential-price index rose 0.99% on 24 September

Pakistan’s Bureau of Statistics said the SPI stood at 369.69 in the week ended 24 September, up 0.99% from the previous week. It is the bureau’s short-term indicator of essential prices.

Pakistan’s Bureau of Statistics said the SPI stood at 369.69 in the week ended 24 September, up 0.99% from the previous week. It is the bureau’s short-term indicator of essential prices.

The series covers prices for 51 essential items in 17 cities and uses a 2015–16 base. The same release reported an annual increase of 11.92%; the weekly and yearly comparisons cover different periods.

Pakistan large-scale manufacturing output rose 3.03% in July
