OECD annual consumer inflation remains at 4.1%

July energy inflation was reported at 11.6%.

Annual inflation measured by consumer prices across OECD countries was broadly stable at 4.1% in July 2026, according to the 8 September release. Energy inflation was 11.6%.

Core inflation excluding food and energy was 3.6%, while food inflation was 3.2%. G20 annual inflation fell from 4.1% in June to 3.9% in July; the OECD and G20 cover different country groups.
