Norway registered 2,421 dwelling permissions in September. In figures published on 12 October, Statistics Norway reported a seasonally adjusted monthly increase of 22.9%; the trend series rose 0.4%.
The number of permissions registered over the latest 12 months reached 20,319. The statistics agency notes that building permission counts do not equal completed homes and that municipal registration can be delayed.
