A fleet of 50 compressed natural gas buses was launched in Nigeria’s Edo State at an October 15 event attended by Oluremi Tinubu. The government announcement describes the fleet as a step to expand public transport options.

A separate livelihood and small-business support scheme was also launched at the event. The report does not specify bus routes, fares or measured operating-cost savings; more affordable mobility is an intended benefit.
