Nickel Industries said on 21 October that US$245 million in financing had been established for PT Fajar Metal Industry, the company through which the ENC joint venture holds its Indonesian nickel-cobalt project. Nickel Industries owns 46% of the venture.

The company said the package comprises a US$220 million amortizing term loan and a US$25 million working-capital facility. OCBC arranged and led it; security is limited to FMI project assets, with no recourse to Nickel Industries.
