Mexico private consumption was flat in July

INEGI’s seasonally adjusted real indicator held at 113.2 points month to month and was 1.1% higher than a year earlier.

Mexico’s private-consumption indicator showed no monthly change in July, at 113.2 points on a 2018=100 index. INEGI said the real, seasonally adjusted measure was 1.1% above July 2025.

Spending on domestic goods and services fell 0.1% from June, while imported-goods spending rose 1.4%. The indicator tracks household outlays on domestic and imported goods and services; its July figures are preliminary national accounts data.
