Macina starts three-month annual voter-register revision

Authorities in Mali’s Macina circle began the annual voter-register revision on 1 October. The three-month process includes new registrations, deletions and transfers through the end of December.

Mali’s annual revision of voter lists began in the Macina circle on 1 October, according to a report published by AMAP on 5 October. Election-management representatives and local officials attended the launch at the Macina prefecture.

The work is intended to update the lists by adding new registrations, removing names and processing transfers. Documents for the exercise had been distributed to all communes in the circle, the report said.

The revision is scheduled to run for three months, through the end of December 2026. The report describes the launch in Macina as part of the nationwide annual process.
