Magna Terra Minerals said its Phase 1 2026 fieldwork extended the surface footprint of copper-silver mineralization at the Birch Zone, within the Humber Copper Project in western Newfoundland. The company collected 246 rock samples, 436 soil samples and 169 stream-sediment samples and completed a property-wide LiDAR survey. Soil and stream-sediment assays were still pending.

The company said mineralization now spans a 4.4-kilometre strike when the Birch Zone and southwest occurrences are considered together. Selected grab samples included up to 2.20% copper and 35.3 g/t silver in quartz-vein-hosted mineralization. At the dolomite-hosted Birch Zone, selected samples reached 1.60% copper and 1.7 g/t silver. Grab samples are selective and may not represent the overall mineralized zone; the company is planning a 20-line-kilometre induced-polarization survey.

Values are from selected rock samples. Work was conducted in 2026; selective sampling does not establish the overall grade of the zone.
