Jordan investor confidence index rose 21.9% in Q2

The Jordan Strategy Forum’s investor confidence index reached 186.6 points in the second quarter of 2026, up from 153.1 in the first quarter. The report carried by Petra also covered activity confidence and selected macroeconomic indicators.

In the same report, the economic activity confidence index rose from 114.7 to 200 points. Real GDP growth was reported at 3% year over year in the second quarter of 2026, compared with 2.8% in the same quarter of 2025.

The forum also reported second-quarter FDI inflows of about JD458 million and a post-grant budget deficit of about JD557 million. These are separate quarterly indicators; the confidence index itself does not measure realized investment.
