IFAD’s Independent Office of Evaluation presented the findings at a country strategy and programme evaluation workshop in Phnom Penh on 19 October. The seven projects assessed had a combined value of US$948.6 million, including US$338.2 million in IFAD financing.

The evaluation said packages combining extension, irrigation, inputs, productive assets, farmer organisations and finance supported productivity and diversification. It also recommended tailored support for poorer households, better rural finance and stronger climate resilience to sustain results after projects close.
