Ghana’s presidency said foreign direct investment inflows reached US$2.62 billion in 2025, up from US$624 million in 2024. President John Dramani Mahama cited the figures on 16 October at the groundbreaking for the Afienya Industrial Park.

Mahama linked the rise to lower inflation and interest rates and a more stable currency. The release gives national FDI totals but no detailed methodology or project breakdown, so the figures should be treated as government-reported amounts.
