Frederick County’s Office of Agriculture said the NASDA Foundation’s Farm2Food Accelerator will begin in the county in January 2027. The program is designed to help farmers and food businesses develop or expand food and beverage products made with locally sourced agricultural ingredients.

The county will host the program’s first county-based cohort, with practical training in product development, food safety, marketing, pricing and sales, alongside access to food-industry experts from across the country. The office invited interested businesses to a virtual information session on October 22; the announcement does not mean the training has started.
