RappelConso issued a voluntary recall notice on 12 October for KHTC Oumaty’s 2.5-kilogram bags of frozen seasoned chicken strips. The company reported an antibiotic finding in chicken meat used in the product; the notice cites veterinary-medicine residues.

The product was sold from 10 to 30 September through Metro, Khadispal and Lacorp La Réunion channels across France. RappelConso linked the health concern to exposure to residues, particularly for people hypersensitive to tetracyclines. Listed lots are 1009260101, 1009260103 and 1009260105; consumers are told not to eat the product and to return or destroy it.
