RappelConso issued a voluntary recall notice on 14 October for 2.5-kilogram bags of Krill Essentiel frozen spinach portions weighing 50 grams each. The stated reason was the possible presence of foreign material such as bone and feathers.

The product was sold nationwide by Argel Sud Est from 17 August to 19 September and was meant to be kept frozen. The authority advised consumers not to use or eat it, to destroy it and seek a refund; the notice gave no lot code.
