Fluor and JGC selected for LNG Canada Phase 2 expansion

Fluor announced selection of its JGC joint venture for engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning of LNG Canada Phase 2 in Kitimat. The notice to proceed followed the September 28 final investment decision.

Two additional liquefaction trains and an LNG tank target total facility capacity of approximately 28 million tonnes annually. Fluor will book its own $7.5 billion contract share in the third quarter. That figure is Fluor’s share, while the capacity increase is an expansion target not yet delivered.
