TotalEnergies and AMNI announced final investment approval for offshore Nigeria’s Ima gas field on September 23. Development envisages a single platform and a 22-kilometre pipeline to Nigeria LNG.

Production targets start-up in 2028 and a plateau of 350 million cubic feet daily. Plans include shore-based electricity supply and permanent methane monitoring. The volume is a future production target rather than current deliveries.
