Finnish airport passenger numbers rise 7% in September
Statistics Finland reported that 1.8 million passengers used Finnish airports in September 2026, a 7% increase from a year earlier. Domestic passenger numbers rose 3%, while international traffic increased 7%.

Helsinki Airport handled 1.6 million passengers and other airports together handled 204,000. Across January to September, passenger numbers rose 6% and air freight and mail volume increased 14%.
