Fiji insurance gross premiums rise 5.4% in 2025
The central bank’s annual report put premiums at FJD501.5 million and industry assets at FJD3.0 billion.

The Reserve Bank of Fiji’s 2025 Insurance Annual Report, released on 2 October, says total gross premiums rose 5.4% to FJD501.5 million, lifting premiums to 3.7% of GDP.
Industry assets increased 5.2% to FJD3.0 billion. Insurance payments reached FJD280.4 million in 2025, compared with FJD261.8 million a year earlier. The report also records a 3.5% fall in net profit after tax to FJD68.3 million.
