F5 said on 21 October that Telenor AI Factory selected F5 BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes as an AI service plane for its NVIDIA-powered sovereign AI infrastructure. Telenor’s facility is intended to serve Norwegian and European organizations that need to control where data is processed, stored and accessed.

The platform is intended to apply traffic policies, tenant isolation and operational visibility in the AI service path. F5 said future capabilities under consideration include token-aware governance and DPU acceleration as commercial services scale; these are planned expansions, not currently reported outcomes.
