EU coffee imports reach €18.7 billion in 2025

Import quantity and value grew at different rates over the decade.

The EU imported 2.9 million tonnes of coffee from non-EU countries in 2025, Eurostat reported. The value reached €18.7 billion, compared with 2.7 million tonnes worth €8.6 billion in 2015.

Brazil supplied 34% of the quantity and Vietnam 20%. Import value more than doubled over the decade while physical quantity increased much less; the value change does not directly show equivalent consumption growth.
