Ethiopia’s National Dialogue Commission handed consolidated agenda items and recommendations to the House of Peoples’ Representatives, the House of Federation, 12 regional state administrations, and the Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa city administrations on October 3. The Ethiopian News Agency reported that parliamentary speaker Tagesse Chafo said legislative and executive branches would create follow-up mechanisms.

The commission has 11 members. The report does not enumerate recommendations or say recipient institutions have adopted or implemented them, and it gives no timetable. The handover does not mean implementation is complete.
