Emperor Metals updated exploration at its Duquesne West project in Quebec on October 13. The company said visible gold was observed in hole DQ26-55, about 30 metres up-dip from a historical high-grade intersection.

Assays for the hole were pending when the release was issued; visible gold alone is not an assay grade or a resource result. The company also said it had selected about 7,884 metres of historical core for targeted resampling and completed 20,479 metres of new drilling in the current campaign.
