Egyptian Labour Minister Hassan Raddad visited Fresh Electric’s home-appliance facility in Badr City on October 11. The ministry and company signed a cooperation protocol to develop vocational training in electrical and electronic appliance maintenance, refrigeration and air conditioning, sales and marketing, and after-sales service.
The three-year protocol covers curricula and training materials, trainer qualifications and joint training programmes. Employment opportunities for graduates will depend on the company’s actual needs, and job fairs are also planned. Fresh Electric’s chairman said the company intends to expand production and exports, but the announcement does not report measured output growth or graduate placements.
