The company said on 19 October that Engineer the Future introduces students in grades nine to 12 to industrial applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Since 2017, more than 44,000 students from over 170 UAE schools have participated, and female students account for 63 per cent of programme participants.

In 2025/26, about 1,200 students from 105 schools entered the programme’s aluminium design challenge in 352 teams; more than 7,000 students also took part in Engineer the Future activities during that academic year. EGA runs the programme with the UAE Ministry of Education.
