Dubai Culture and the World Cities Culture Forum announced the first Global Fellowship cohort on 6 October. The programme brings together 20 mid-career professionals for training, mentorship and peer exchange on cultural policy, city development and leadership.

Five fellows work for Dubai government entities; the other 15 were selected competitively from different cities in the Forum’s network. Over six months, participants will develop strategic cultural projects for their cities. The programme continues at the 28–30 October summit in Tokyo and concludes with a five-day Dubai residency in spring 2027.
